Find the Place

3/28,2007

There is an emptiness that comes

To one who has lived long in love

Spirit-joined whose life revealed

A gentler side, now stricken down,

An emptiness of days and years

And sleepless nights and nights of tears,

A blankness filling all the world.

And yet this must not be, we breathe

And life continues as we seek

The answer we already know

That none who once have loved and lived

Can die and only dust remain.

There is a place where all unite

Who came alone from star-strung space

To grow upon the greening earth

And marry beauty to the soul

Find the place - and grieve no more.
